The Roland TB-03 that Dot gave me a couple of Christmases ago played a special role in this track, along with a 4-track Tascam tape machine I recently picked up. The California sunset can lead you down unknown paths if you let it, and we have seen many during our drives out to our secret beach. It’s the long-awaited departure from light to twilight, where the narrative changes, and continues even after you fall asleep.”
